Jefferson's annual Jog-A-Thon is on Feb. 23, which is this Friday.  The racetrack will be the same as last year's, looping around the track and up and out and through.  Make sure you wear a shirt with a sleeve, in order to pin your bib on.  Backpacks and other school supplies aren't needed.

The schedule is different, but students will still go to first period class as normal for a while, where they will be handed their bibs and go out to the field.  Elite Runners (that is, people who reached a certain mile time) will get a head start so that they don't have to run past crowds of people.

After an hour of running, everyone will gather back on the field.  Then everyone will go back to first period, then fifth/sixth period, then seventh, then to lunch.

Due to Jog-A-Thon, it is a Minimum Day and dismissal is at 12:00.

For the next two Mondays, don't come to school.  Why?  To honor our presidents!  On Feb. 12 (Lincoln's Birthday) and Feb. 19 (Washington's Birthday, and President's Day), there will be no school.  Enjoy your three day weekend twice in a row!
